American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Sunnyside is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sunnyside follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

These donuts are absolutely divine, and this spot totally lives up to the hype! The staff are super friendly, and even though it's always bustling, there are plenty of tables to enjoy your treats inside or out. Everything is incredibly fresh and constantly restocked because customers just keep pouring in. If you've got a sweet tooth or are craving something new for your taste buds, this is the place to be. They've got exciting flavor combinations that will make you wonder, "Who came up with these brilliant ideas?"

Kora was easily one of my favorite bakery stops in NYC. What stood out most was the way Filipino ingredients and flavors are translated into beautifully executed pastries while still feeling familiar and comforting. The ube doughnut was a highlight the dough was incredibly fluffy and soft, filled generously with a rich ube cream, finished with ube glaze and crisp ube chips that added a great contrast in texture. The flan doughnut was another favorite. Iβve always loved flan, and placing a piece of silky flan inside a doughnut with cajeta is such a clever combination. Rich and indulgent, but incredibly satisfying. Iβm fairly new to matcha, so I loved getting to experience it alongside ingredients Iβm less familiar with. The hot matcha with pandan was delicious. The pandan added such a fragrant, almost comforting quality to the drink. I also wanted to try the coconut caramel espresso, but espresso was a little too early for me. The barista was incredibly accommodating and substituted it with a matcha shot instead, which turned out to be a great combination. Beyond the pastries themselves, the hospitality made the experience even better. Kora feels creative and deeply rooted in Fi

Beautiful large place and friendly employees. Efficient system! The flan donut was good but which there was a stronger vanilla flavor and wished the flan was slightly undercooked so it could have the gooey texture. But the brioche bread holding it was fantastic texture wise. The mango fritter was delicious! Loved the strong mango flavor and how it had a good amount of jam in it. Favorite was the spam & cheese croissant though. Loved the spicy kick to it and strong flavor. Would get again in a heart beat! The ube coconut cookie was underwhelming. Coconut flavor was there but thatβs it. Cookie was a little dry.

Every single pastry is worth the price!!! Ube donut was filled and had crispy ube pieces on the edges. The garlic and cheese pastry was SOOO good and savory. The leche flan donut was a little heavy but was delicious. Ensaymada croissant is a must buy, the croissant was nice and flaky and the cheese was perfect. Even their drinks were refreshing! The lychee matcha drink was delicious and the hibiscus lemonade was very refreshing. Not overly sweet. Iβd 100% come back. Even tho there are as a like out the door, it moved pretty quickly too

It's a beautiful experience when you walk into a new spot, and leave knowing that you've found a new favorite local to frequent. The quality of the menu is divine. I love the Filipino flavors, especially the Spam & Cheese. Sweet, spicy, savory, and flaky. The decor is wonderful, I see a lot of people relaxing inside, and the workers here are all friendly and very into their work; a great sign! I will be working my way through their menu.
